Progression Care are proud in promoting positive development to moving on. As PCL is evidence-based PCL are focused on our young people building on their daily living skills to eventually feel confident to live independently. The young people are encouraged to participate and engage in education and activities that maximize their potential and which gives them the foundational skills for their future. The staff team within Progression Care believe and promote that not only having the life skills to live independently, our young people should be able to have the opportunity to financially support themselves in the future. Education, Training and qualifications are a huge foundation for this to become reality.
We recognise support is required to empower individuality and the need to feel secure enables young people to develop life skills, build resilience and feel motivated to successfully progress into independence. Our flexible and holistic approach to support, allows young people to develop their own person centred ‘tool kit’ to enable them to create coping strategies, take positive risks, form and maintain healthy relationships and boundaries; and sustain positive emotional and mental well-being. Progression Care supports achievable goals alongside our aims and objectives to provide high quality support, meeting individual needs in a safe, caring, effective and responsive environment by a well-led workforce with the skills, knowledge and resources to meet the highest standards.
